From West to East, I'll Describe each STOCKED River in Detail.

Our beautiful rivers receive more that 400,000 Little Manistee Steelhead. They are equally dispersed depending on the rivershed size. Now hear in Ohio, we aren't blessed with mountains for run-off, or springs for summer cool. They all have tremendous amounts of shale and are classified as spate in nature. This means they rely on rains to keep the ground water table full. So, if it rains a lot, more water will fill the rivers. If it doesn't rain enough, rivers can run to a trickle within weeks. But, to the knowledgeable steelheader, they will use this info to time the fishes run.
