River Substrate: Our rivers are mostly clay rock. Some have more gravel, some have more sand. The clay material tend to discolor longer than gravel and sand. Each river has a different percentage of all three, which aids in determaining how long they will be dirty.
Amount of Water in Relation to Time: Each river has its own micro climate due to latitude and elevation. Storms that blow in tend to drop different amounts of rain in different regions. The west side and east side usually get hit with the same storm system with different results.
Add all these up, factor in each river's individuality and you will find a place to fish. In the next pages, I will desribe each river in full detail.
